Registration includes insurance and covers all games, training and skills sessions held during the season with the exception of school organised activities. Central Highlands Junior Rugby Union has a strict NO REGISTRATION, NO TRAIN / NO RUN-ON policy.

All players receive shorts and socks - however keep in mind that there is a minimum 2 month waiting time for shorts and socks orders so if you delay registering your shorts and socks will arrive late. To keep costs down, Jerseys are owned by the Clubs and provided and returned before and after each game.

A great array of Club supporter gear including polo shirts, hawaiians, caps and kit bags is also available through on our website under the Supporter Gear page which will be available soon.

Registration: Before You Start

If you don’t already have one, create an account at myaccount.rugby.com.au or we encourage everyone to download the Rugby Xplorer app available for free on your compatible device (iPhone, iPad, iPod or equivalent) from either:

  • If you plan to use a Queensland Government FairPlay Voucher, contact the CHJRU Treasurer directly before registering: The FairPlay Voucher cannot be entered directly into Rugby XPlorer so you will need our assistance and we will happily help.
  • Please have your child's height and weight ready as it will be required to complete the registration process. It is important that this is accurate. CHJRU have to check and record this before each season starts.
  • When asked if you wish to set the player profile to "Private" please select “No”.


Registration: Step by Step Guide

Via the Website

The URL to use is: myaccount.rugby.com.au, then

  1. Enter your email or MyRugby ID (You may enter the email you registered with in 2020)
  2. IF THE EMAIL ADDRESS IS FOUND IN THE SYSTEM, click “email me a magic link”
  3. Open your email and click on the magic link
  4. Enter new password
  5. Click “confirm”
  6. Enter your email
  7. Click “sign in manually”
  8. Email address will pre-populate, enter password
  9. Click “sign in”
  10. You will be directed to the participant portal and can edit any details in ‘My Dashboard’ as required.

If the Email Address IS NOT found in the System, click “sign me up”

  1. Enter your details to create a Rugby account
  2. Open your email and click magic link
  3. Enter new password
  4. Click “confirm”
  5. Enter your email
  6. Click “sign in manually”
  7. Email address will pre-populate, enter password
  8. Click “sign in”
  9. You will be directed to the participant portal and can edit any details ‘My Dashboard’ as required.

Once Signed In

  1. Click on Register on the top menu of the Rugby Xplorer App or myaccount.rugby.com.au
  2. Find a Club - Select player (if more than one linked to account) then search and select your Club - this will be either:
  • Blackwater Basilisks (Central Highlands Junior Rugby Union)
  • Capella Rugby Union  (Central Highlands Junior Rugby Union)
  • Central Highlands Titans (Central Highlands Junior Rugby Union)
  • Nogoa Redclaws Junior Rugby Union Club (Central Highlands Junior Rugby Union) - note ALL teen boys register under the Redclaws for Central Highlands.
  • Rolleston Joeys (Central Highlands Junior Rugby Union)
  1. Role - select Player. This applies to all age groups. Do not choose training only. 
  2. Registration type - select XVs Juniors QLDC
  3. Duration - select Season
  4. Confirm/Upload Profile Photo
  5. Confirm Additional Details
  6. Confirm/input Emergency contact details
  7. Input/update Height & Weight, confirm/search Current School
  8. Add a saleable item – CHJRU Association individual membership fees ($10 per adult per annum) can be easily paid for at the time of player registration
  9. Registration Summary
  10. Make Payment using Credit/Debit Card (AMEX not supported) or ZIP Pay to pay registrations in installations.

Linked Accounts

  • If there are no linked accounts of the participant you are trying to register, click “Register” on the right hand tool bar and select “Create a Rugby Linked account”
  • Complete all details and click “Sign Up”
  • A new linked account record will be created and will now appear when clicking on the icon above.
  • Please note that this created record will be have the same email address as the primary account holder creating it.

About FairPlay Vouchers

Central Highlands Junior Rugby Union is a registered activity provider for Queensland Government FairPlay vouchers.

Parents, carers or guardians can apply for a voucher valued up to $150 for their child, which can be used towards sport and active recreation membership, registration or participation fees with registered activity providers.

Parents, carers and guardians can apply for a limit of 1 voucher per child per calendar year.
